All About the Royal Public Schools Campus

Royal Public Schools, a new, neighborhood-based charter school, is getting its new campus ready to welcome students in August 2021. The campus is a historic building on the Southside of San Antonio, and is currently being renovated to offer 21st-century learning in a 100-twelvemonth-old building. Hi! My proper name is Rebecca Hines, and I am the proud Founding Principal at Royal Public Schools. Information technology is an honor to serve the community as the principal of Imperial Public Schools!  I began my journey in teaching 28 years ago as a second-grade teacher.  I have had the privilege of teaching children in elementary and centre schools.  Equally a schoolhouse administrator, I have spent the last 16 years coaching, mentoring, and leading teachers to achieve their highest potential so that they can take an educational impact on our children.

I experience blessed to have served families in rural and urban communities in traditional school districts and lease schools.

Although I am a certified main, my heart began and remained in pedagogy. I am a certified reading instructor and a certified generalist teacher for grades 1 through 8. I received my available's degree from The University of Texas—Pan American. Furthering my education, I obtained my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and my principalship certification from The University of Texas at El Paso.

I savor my daughter Katherine, a junior at Angelo Country Academy, in my spare fourth dimension. My son Ruben, my daughter-in-law Grace, and my beautiful granddaughter Corinth.  Additionally, I savour reading, dancing, and gardening.
